JUAN PABLO MALDONADO CELAYA

​

Nacido el 12 de Octubre de 1985 en Hermosillo Sonora, México. 

Guitarrista profesional, cantante, arreglista, director y productor musical de varios artistas musicales.

​

Inicia sus estudios musicales en 1992 con la maestra Martha Quiróz y en 1997 continúa bajo la dirección del maestro Policarpo Rivera. En 2003 inicia estudios profesionales de canto, bajo la tutela de la maestra Náyade Proenza y la maestra Maribel Ferrales. En 2004 es invitado a participar en su primer concierto de canto lírico al lado de la Mezzo Soprano Estrella Ramírez y la Soprano Marcela Ocampo, concierto que fué dirigido por el maestro José Ángel Rodríguez. Ese mismo año es invitado, por primera vez, a participar al lado de la Soprano Margarita Estrada y el pianista Daniel Villegas en el "Festival Internacional Alfonso Ortíz Tirado".
 

En 2006 viaja a la Habana Cuba para participar como invitado especial al homenaje de quién fuera su maestra, la reconocida soprano Maribel Ferrales.

Incursiona como guitarrista acompañando a cantantes  tanto líricos como de otros géneros destacando la canción de concierto, jazz, bolero, música latino americana, la salsa y el son.

​

En el 2013 viaja a la ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina, para tomar clases de Folklore Latinoamericano, tango, jazz, con los maestros, Alejandro Moro y Pablo Figueroa.

​

Se perfecciona en estilos musicales tales como la samba, bossa nova y choro, en Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.

 

En  2014 es invitado como cantante y guitarrista a formar parte del grupo musical "Libro Abierto", grupo destacado por interpretar música regional basada en la literatura, presentando conciertos en, Colombia y la República Mexicana.

Sus técnicas en el desarrollo de la enseñanza de la guitarra y el canto, aunado a su amor por la docencia, lo llevan a compartir sus conocimientos mediante conferencias magistrales a lo largo del país, siendo los temas impartidos el de armonía moderna, contrapunto, composición, interpretación, entrenamiento auditivo, teoría y técnica musical, así como historia de la música, la improvisación y formas musicales actuales.  

 

En el 2017 junto con el maestro clarinetista, Luis Miguel Balseca, fundan el ensamble 

"D´accord".

JUAN PABLO MALDONADO CELAYA

Born on October 12, 1985 in  Hermosillo Sonora, Mexico. 

Professional guitarist, singer, arranger, director and music producer for various musical artists.

​

He began his musical studies in 1992 with the teacher Martha Quiróz and in 1997 he continued under the direction of the teacher Policarpo Rivera. In 2003 he began professional singing studies, under the tutelage of the teacher Náyade Proenza and the teacher Maribel Ferrales. In 2004 he was invited to participate in his first lyrical singing concert alongside the Mezzo Soprano Estrella Ramírez and the Soprano Marcela Ocampo, a concert that was conducted by maestro José Ángel Rodríguez. That same year he was invited, for the first time, to participate alongside the Soprano Margarita Estrada and the pianist Daniel Villegas in the "Alfonso Ortíz Tirado International Festival".
 

In 2006 he traveled to Havana Cuba to participate as a special guest in the tribute of his teacher, the renowned soprano Maribel Ferrales.

​

He ventures as a guitarist accompanying singers, both lyrical and of other genres, highlighting the concert song, jazz, bolero, Latin American music, salsa and son.

​

In 2013 he traveled to the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, to take classes in Latin American Folklore, tango, jazz, with the teachers, Alejandro Moro and Pablo Figueroa.

He is perfected in musical styles such as samba, bossa nova and choro, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

 

In 2014 he was invited as a singer and guitarist to be part of the musical group "Libro Abierto", a group known for performing regional music based on literature, presenting concerts in Colombia and the Mexican Republic.

​

His techniques in the development of teaching guitar and singing, combined with his love for teaching, lead him to share  his knowledge through lectures throughout the country, being the subjects taught the modern harmony, counterpoint, composition, interpretation, auditory training, theory and musical technique, as well as the history of music, improvisation and current musical forms.  

 

In 2017, together with the clarinetist teacher, Luis Miguel Balseca, they founded the ensemble "D'Accord".
